The AS-01 HG Drift Tires from Reve D are a top choice for RC drifting. The tires are manufactured from HDPE plastic (High Density Polyethylene), and are the top choice of tire for drivers drifting on p tile, colored concrete, asphalt, and carpet! These HG drift tires feature a matte finish to the tread surface and shoulders, that help with out of the box stability, requiring less “break in” to get the best level of traction.
These tires can be used in the front, the rear, or both – depending on set up and driving preferences.
When used in the front, the initial steering response is crisp, but provides a stable and linear ability to catch the counter steer without overpowering it.
When used in the rear, the overall performance comes from the lateral stickiness during drifting, and provides a high level of traction. In addition, grip is maintained even at high drift angles, allowing you for some deep and unique angles to be hit on the track.
